Job Summary 

Individual contributor responsible for providing life insurance and annuity delivery and thought leadership for clients and to support internal insurance practice building. Recognized as a business subject matter expert in the life and annuities business, demonstrating well established technical know-how within the global insurance consulting/ outsourcing organization.

Responsibilities 

  • Engage with Insurance account teams to identify and support pursuit efforts for highly complex life and annuity needs/opportunities
  • Provide thought and execution leadership for development of specialized capabilities/service offerings/solutions within Insurance and Business consulting organizations.
  • Stay current on state/national issues and regulations, industry activity and trends and provide Insurance leadership updates and insights on impact to clients and delivery of services.
  • Participate in industry trade groups.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced subject matter experts in the life and annuities space and support the development/delivery of domain related training programs
  • Actively participate and consult on select large, complex, transformational projects for life and annuities, with a focus on Life Policy Admin systems initiatives.
  • Engage and provide strategic and operational advice to senior industry business and IT executives

 Skills, Knowledge & Abilities 

  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills. Ability to effectively interact with ‘C’-level executives and business partners
  • Advanced knowledge of insurance principles, practices and procedures
  • Thorough understanding of the life & annuity application systems marketplace and the key providers and product capabilities

Education & Experience 

  • Professional consulting delivery experience to the Life & Annuities industry
  • Minimum eight to ten years working in/supporting life & annuities businesses
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience. Professional degree and life & annuity industry designations highly desired
  • Life insurance and annuity business subject matter expert with strong, demonstrated technical know-how thorough understanding of the life & annuity application systems marketplace understanding of the life & annuity business marketplace and working knowledge  of the life & annuity product life cycle (product development actuarial through claims)

Requirements

Responsible for managing business development objectives within key clients within the Healthcare vertical. Demonstrated ability to perform technical program and project management of geographically disbursed teams using established criteria and professional standards. Work with architecture teams to deliver full life cycle technical solutions. Must be able to manage teams of 20-30 consultants in addition to international projects. Experience with on-site/offshore model is strongly desired.

7+ years experience with 3-5 managing in a development environment. Excellent communicator and be able to communicate effectively along vertical and horizontal planes internally and in client organizations. Able to multitask with rapidly changing priorities and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment; detail-oriented and manage and maintain all facets of complex assignments; problem solver and be able to identify strategic solutions to business problems with enterprise-wide implications. Must demonstrates flexibility to work among diverse corporate environments, industries and technical and non-technical audiences.

Should possess SDLC experience with requirements analysis, development and testing of software with enterprise and e-commerce technologies. Demonstrated ability in developing and building client relationships. Ability to handle tough situations and achieve a favorable outcome. Set and manage expectations and manage client and internal resource constraints effectively. Budgeting/P &L. Manage $3-5 million project budgets. Experience in managing domestic and offshore teams with favorable results. Travel is required and should possess a BS/BA degree.

Responsibilities include generating leads, cold calling, identifying, qualifying and securing business opportunities. You will perform sales and technical discussions with potential clients, presentations and preparation of proposals documents in order to increase revenue for the company.

Requirements: 

  • 8 years of experience selling Outsourced Technology Solutions.
  • Proven and consistent track record producing revenues of over $3 million annually.
  • Must be able to deliver excellent presentations and have local business contacts and references.
  • Experience in business evaluations, gathering and analyzing corporate and market information.
  • Must have strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business terms.
  • Strong technical understanding with experience in or familiarity with current technologies is necessary.
  • Experience selling offshore IT solutions to Insurance Providers.

 Regional travel is required and should possess a BS/BA Degree.
