For this particular client we are seeking an accomplished Infrastructure Architect to be responsible for leading large applications and infrastructure transformation projects resulting in cost savings, improved systems performance and more manageable IT environments for their clients.

Our client is an independent Consulting arm of a leading Research and Development Services provider which offers strategic Business and Information Technology Services to its Fortune 1000 clients across a wide array of industries.  With over $4 billion in annual revenue and 70,000+ employees they are one of the largest providers of outsourced R&D, BPO and IT Services in the world.

This Consulting Architect opportunity will play a key technical role in facilitating various technical and business initiatives within the business unit.  Responsibilities will include leadership and supporting roles in physical architecture inception and design in support of hosted application services, solution cost and resource estimation, internal and external process and technical solution evaluation and reviews, critical production issue support, solution proposal support, client-facing meetings, vendor statement of work review and providing senior technical leadership. Preferred candidates should have a history of physical I/T architectural planning and operations background with experience in large-scale enterprise solutions.  Key objectives for this role:

•    Lead Enterprise wide Infrastructure roadmap and strategy
•    Accountable for key program delivery, enterprise architecture and technology strategy for business unit
•    Establish ITIL-compliant technical solution design standards and processes

Primary Objectives:

Qualifications:

  • Successful F1000 Enterprise wide Sales experience providing solutions to Network, Security and Compliance/Governance Departments
  • 10+ years technology solution sales experience with track record of exceeding $1.5M+ quota and $180k+  personal income as evidenced by W-2s
  • Consummate hunter/killer with complex deal skills – multiple decision makers, multiple departments/business units
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Travel is required
  • Highly energetic with the ability to work independently, and with a team
