Domain Partner – IT Services to Financial Services – NY

In our synergized team environment, we build long-term relationships by thoroughly understanding the specific needs of both our clients and applicants.  For this particular client we are seeking an experienced Domain Partner to manage Consulitng teams within the Securities and Capital Markets industry. 

Our client is a leading independent Research and Development Services provider which offers strategic Business and Information Technology Services to its Fortune 1000 clients across a wide array of industries.  With over $4 billion in annual revenue and 70,000+ employees they are one of the largest providers of outsourced R&D, BPO and IT Services in the world. 

Mandatory requirements

1. BE/MBA
2. Over 15 years of enriched work experience in working on technology, domain or operations areas in securities and capital markets firms.  
3. Sound understanding of Securities and Capital markets industry
   • Solid knowledge of the asset management and custody businesses. 
   • Deep Experience /understanding of Order Management, Trading, Clearing and Settlement, Reference data or risk management  related to Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives,
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
   • Must be logical and persuasive in thinking and communication.
   • Should be hands on in content creation and preparing power point pitches.
   • Should have written white papers and other documents, added advantage would be in published externally and spoken in the industry.
   • Should have played customer facing role in either an operations or technology groups within the securities industry or in a service provider firm (technology or BPO/KPO type).
   • Should have worked overseas preferably in UK or the US and should not have significant location-constraints and must be open to high travel. 
5. Should have managed domain and / or consulting teams
   • Should have trained teams in domain areas.
   • Should possess team management skills including good networking skills. Must have run virtual teams before.
   • Should be able to provide coaching/mentoring team members and provide domain guidance to team as required.
6. Should have participated in RFP response (if worked in technology services firm), independently estimate and validate the project efforts. And independently own and run large deal pursuits.
   • Should have participated in strategic assessments, technology or operations assessment studies, due diligence studies.
7. Should have superior Microsoft Office skills / expertise in PowerPoint and word.

Travel is required, but it’s typically regionally focused, so come with your running shoes on.  Oh, and don’t forget your BS/BA degree.
