If so, then we need to talk. 

Responsible for generating leads, cold calling, identifying, qualifying and securing business opportunities. You will perform sales and technical discussions with potential clients, presentations and preparation of proposals documents in order to increase revenue for the company. 

  • Focus on new client acquisition and expansion by targeting, qualifying, and closing new IT Services for the implementation, integration, upgrade, and support of business applications.
  • Identify target accounts in Bay Area, consisting of technology companies based on company service offering.
  • Utilizing all sources, secure meetings with IT executives to understand their needs and priorities and identify if there is an opportunity for additional revenue generation.
  • Develop account plans with all stakeholders based on customers’ IT roadmaps.
  • Develop a compelling value proposition for customers through a consultative approach fully understanding the customers’ business and IT needs.
  • Understand business applications and IT infrastructure, both Oracle business applications and custom applications, and implementations and services of those applications enough to qualify opportunities and make recommendations to customers.
  • Define compelling solutions and develop proposals based on them with the help of pre-sales and working with the India technical team.
  • Present the proposals to the customer and follow-up to win it.
  • Utilize a variety of tools to qualify and progress an opportunity to close a deal.
  • Determine assessment areas that will be valuable to the customers.
  • Work closely with partners such as Oracle and Red Hat to develop account strategies.
  • Study competitive landscape to find out how competition is doing and how to gain an edge over the competition.
  • Generate Revenue of $2-3M per year.  

Experience & Qualification: 

  • Strong experience in selling IT services, especially IT consulting or outsourcing
  • Understanding of enterprise IT environments
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding past 3-4 years of quota
  • Contacts at an executive level with Bay Area technology companies
  • Experience in selling services around Oracle applications and middleware
  • Demonstrated success in consultative selling and solution selling
  • Demonstrated success in growing relationships with alliance partners
  • Aptitude of selling as a ‘Hunter’ and demonstrated track record of opening new accounts
  • Excellent communication skills and has presented to ‘C’ level executives
  • Prefer 5-10 years experience in selling services
  • Prefer someone with experience in both medium-sized and large accounts
  • Must be creative, motivated, high energy, and customer-focused 

Compensation – $100,000 – 120,000 base / OTE $180,000 – 250,000
